The story

A Rozenburg Den Haag eggshell porcelain vase with two small handles, painted with a bird on a branch, amongst purple Lilac, high 23.5 cm (9¼ in). Design by Samuel Schellink and painted by him on 08 February 1908. Workorder number 115, model 294, of which only 26 copies were made. An identical vase (and from the same workorder number) is displayed in the Rozenburg 1983 catalogue by the Haags Gemeentemuseum, ‘Rozenburg 1883-1917’, page 198.
