The story

A rare and unique Rozenburg eggshell porcelain vase painted with two birds amongst Japanese cherry blossom. Painted by Samuel Schellink, W.G. Vonk and J.A. Haafkens. The vase is 24½ cm high by 16½ cm wide, the base is 14 cm by 6½ cm. Marked with the modelnumber 184 (incised in the bottom), factory stamp, workordernumber 400, painters’ mark and yearcode 1901

The vase was exhibited at the “Rozenburg. Plateel uit Haagse kringen” exhibition at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, in 2007
