Baukje Stamm – co-owner of Wildschut Antiqairs – tells you how it made its way into their collection.
“Here is your chance to buy a rarely available Peugeot motorcycle in lovely original style condition. This amazing machine was found in the corner of a French garage in Verdun, France, where it had been stored for decades. We put some petrol in it …and it fired up!
It is in remarkably good condition, light and agile, with three gears, a Webb front fork and fish tail exhaust pipe. Still running strong, but needs some work on the ignition.
It’s an interesting example of the evolution from motorised bicycles to motorcycles.”
